Hello, I’m Soph!

I’m an award-nominated presenter with over a million views across my socials, and a Lancastrian down South who’s up for a laugh. Combining science and humour, I bring a playful approach to education, showing you can know your stuff without taking yourself too seriously.

Recent projects include finding a scientifically-accredited love potion recipe for BBC Radio 4, compering the Royal Institution Christmas Lectures, doing dynamic experiments on the BBC Earth Kids YouTube channel, and speaking at New Scientist Live.
